The Golden Globs and Oscars are over, but film awards season isn’t done until thank-you speeches have been given for categories such as “Best Kiss” and “#WTF Moment.” You can count on MTV to pick a buzzworthy host for the MTV Movie Awards — in the past five years, it’s been Andy Samberg, Aziz Ansari, Jason Sudeikis, Russell Brand and Rebel Wilson. All were exciting choices and did great, but when it was announced that Conan O’Brien would host this year’s show, well, the internet almost broke.
